Freemasonry in Tenbury Wells

The Lodge of St Michael No. 1097 Lodge of Instruction

The Lodge of Instruction is held on the second Thursday of each month from October to April and is designed to help all masons especially those who have just joined or who are progressing towards the Master’s chair.

All Entered Apprentices, Fellow Craft, Master Masons and Past Masters are encouraged to attend, as it is through these informative and enjoyable evenings that members not only learn about our ceremonies but are actively encouraged to take part in the rehearsal of the various ceremonies undertaken.

The Lodge of Instruction is overseen by the Preceptor and his assistants as well as Past Masters who attend to encourage and help the members on various aspects of ritual.

The Lodge of Instruction is of great benefit to the Lodge and members speak highly of it as an aid to their work in the Lodge. The atmosphere is very friendly, dress is casual and good humour plays a part.

The bar is usually open following the meeting for some social contact.
